POLONEZKOY

Our camp is based in the picturesque village of Polonezkoy on the outskirts of the city of Istanbul.   The Alinda resort is set in acres of green forests and fields, close to a river which flows into the sea. So here we have the calm and serenity of wooded valleys and glades against the backdrop of dramatic mountains, still close enough to the coast for boat rides on the river or a day on the beach.

The resort has its own huge outdoor swimming pool with water park, and indoor swimming pools for cooler days.  There are splendid dining and barbeque areas,    There are sports facilities, including tennis courts, football and basketball courts.  The resort covers many acfres with fruit trees, beautiful flowers and magnificent trees.   

The region is perfect for nature trails and hiking, horse riding, biking.

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD

Rooms are comfortably furnished with double or triple rooms with en suite bathrooms.  Many rooms have a balcony with a view of the gardens and forests.   There are plenty of areas for animation and entertainment with well equipped conference and meeting rooms.  Food is plentiful and fresh.  Our camp is served three main meals per day plus snacks.  There are barbeque evenings.  Food is served buffet style with eat as much as you like.

THE CITY OF ISTANBUL  

Less than an hour away from Polonezkoy is the ancient metropolis of Istanbul, with its colossal mosques and churches, bazaars and markets, all of them  important cultural herigage sites.   Through the city flows the Bosphorus, the famous waterway which divides East from West.   Istanbul is truly a place where cultures meet.   It is a city where ancient meets modern. 

From our camp we will travel into the heart of Istanbul to visit some of the most iconic monuments in the  World.
